ILF VISION, AIM, GOALS & OBJECTIVES

ILF Envisions a world that recognizes, taps, trains & manages sports talents from the roots through sports. We intend to promote 360 transformation through sports evangelism & peace aspect, environmental support activities & education to better the target communities & the world. We are focused on talent scouting, promotion, development and global exposure with the aim of all round socio-economic transformation in the targert communities. AIM To Empower the youth who are gullible to be engaged in social ills Age ( 7-25yrs) to understand that they can use their talent to better their lives & societies. In this regard we will establish strategic youth empowerment programs that aims at harnessing ,nurturing and developing youth potential through talent development in Kenya and beyond borders .ILF SHORT-TERM & LONG TERM GOAL & OBJECTIVES Establish a Sports Academy, Culture , Peace & Conservation centres that will tap and nurture talents in Kenya and Globally hence promote the social and economic transformation The Archery Tournaments are gender sensitive & will give Chance to girsl to hold and use an Arrows and Bows which is previously a male dominated area.Supporting the education of boys and girls from poor backgrounds through sponsorships and establishment of educational support packages. Support fragile families by promoting entrepreneurship through training of community groups and by providing seed money for young entrepreneurs. Lobbying and advocating the community’s general concerns on issues where they have been unfairly marginalized-through local and international forces

Chance for a girl to hold and use an Arrow and Bow which is dominated by the male Gender. Start an academy that will Nature Talents in the entire region.

IRENE LIMIKA FOUNDATION
Arrows For Peace was founded by Irene Limika , in Nairobi, Kenya . Irene was one of the first elite women to compete in the steeplechase in international competition, and she com peted for Kenya on five different occasions in the World Cross Country Championships, bringing home a silver medal in 3000 m steeplechase, Irene has also been a finalist in the IAAF World Mara thon Championships in Berlin, Germany 2009, and she is currently serving her country as the na t ional treasurer of the Kenya Archery Sports Organization (KASO). Irene is the founder of the Irene Limika Foundation (ILF), an organization that addresses itself in curbing community vices through the sport of archery. reduces violent crime in Kenya by involving community members in sports for peace events . Irene calls upon her extensive connections in athletics, including her relationships with administrators, coaches, and legendary athletes, for the purpose of developing partnerships between the Olympics family, international federations, elite athletes, and leading political figures, with the goal of utilizing sporting activities to promote peace in troubled regions of the world. It is widely accepted that sport has the capacity to lead social transformation in every area of the world affected by poverty or social instability, global athletes for peace makes this happen. 3 GAFP is a neutral and independent. There is no political agenda. The Organiza t ion is built on pure intentions and values that forms pillars associated with Sporting excellence. This pillars are built on the foundation or core values that support all activities undertaken. Activities include; participating in the Olympic and world athletic calendar events, contributory and advocacy work, delivery of bespoke education programmes and targeted project work across Africa and wider world. Global athletes for peace intends to re-integrate child soldiers back into society, to help war orphans rebuild their self confidence, to re integrate refugees, facilitate access to education, promote anti-terrorism activi t ies and more……………….
